Fragrant Coconut Rice

Ingredients-2 tbsp of peanut oil,1/2 cup onion,2 cups rice cooked,1 tsp turmeric powder,1 cup fresh or canned coconut milk, 2 whole cloves,1 whole cinnamon stick,2 bay leaves,1 tsp cumin seeds,salt and pepper to taste Preparation-Heat the oil in a large casserole until moderately hot. Add the bay leaves, cloves, cinnamon stick,cumin seeds and onions.Add the turmeric powder,salt,pepper and coconut milk and stir-fry for 2 minutes.Put in the rice and continue to cook for 2 minutes.It is ready to serve when the rice is cooked.
